Maldives Aggressor II is a 135-foot liveaboard operating from Malé, offering multi-day dive trips across the central atolls of the Maldives. The vessel accommodates up to 22 guests and is designed for stability and extended itineraries in open-water conditions.

The Maldives is known for channel diving, reef systems, and pelagic encounters. Trips typically combine drift dives, reef dives, and cleaning stations across different atolls depending on route and conditions.

Resort / Vessel Facilities & Meals

The vessel includes a salon, sun deck with loungers, shaded seating areas, bar, and grill. There are camera charging stations with both 110V and 220V outlets. Personal valuables can be stored with the cruise director.

Meals are served throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. The menu combines international and local dishes. Soft drinks, coffee, tea, and a limited selection of beer and wine are included.

Activities

Diving is the main activity, with scheduled dives each day. Evenings may include fish identification briefings, movies, or time on deck.

Staying Connected

Internet access is limited while onboard, especially when travelling between atolls.

We Think . . .

Maldives Aggressor II suits divers looking for structured liveaboard trips with frequent dives, strong current diving, and consistent pelagic encounters across multiple atolls.

Maldives Aggressor II operates in the Maldives, a chain of atolls in the Indian Ocean southwest of Sri Lanka. The region is known for channels, reef systems, and nutrient-rich waters that attract both reef species and larger pelagics.

Diving conditions vary by season and current strength, with many sites influenced by tidal flow through channels.

How to Get There

  • International flights arrive into Malé International Airport (MLE)
  • The airport is located on Hulhulé Island

Guests are met on arrival and transferred by dhoni to the yacht, which is anchored nearby. Boarding typically begins in the afternoon, and guests are advised to arrive at least one day before departure.

At the end of the trip, guests are transferred back to the airport after breakfast.

  • The team at Diveplanit were tremendous help for my recent trip to Palau. The trip was a bit last minute, and bookings were filling up, so I appreciated Claire’s patience and first-hand knowledge as we tried to find the right combination of dates, flights and operators. Unsurprisingly, the trip was spectacular and ticked off multiple bucket list experiences.

  • Michelle is a legend. I didn't know how difficult it could be to organise travel and diving in Vanuatu! Having been there, I can only wonder at the organisation and care that went into making my trip special. There was even a cancelled flight that meant a rearrangement of activities on a couple of days. But it all went seamlessly. I would highly recommend Diveplanit.

  • Michelle was fantastic in helping with my recent PNG excursion. I got straightforward and detailed advice, and nothing was too much trouble. I had some package tweaks after committing to the initial trip, but the changes were no problem. There's no question whom I'll contact for my next South Pacific itinerary.
