The Mermaid 2 Liveaboard is one of the most comfortable and diver friendly liveaboards in her class in Indonesia. She operates 7 night Komodo trips from May to November and 8 night Raja Ampat trips from December to April. Relocation and biodiversity special itineraries are also offered on occasion. There is a wide stern dive platform with two exit ladders and fresh water showers. The dive deck is huge with plenty of room to gear up, individual boxes for dive gear, camera table and loads of rinse tanks. Camera rental available. Nitrox is available on every cruise for divers who have the appropriate certification. Mermaid II provides 20x 12L (80 cuft.) air tanks and 20x 12L Nitrox tanks. There are also 5x 15L (100 cuft.) air or Nitrox steel tanks on board. DIN and INT valves are available.
Staying Connected
Both Mermaid 1 and Mermaid 2 have both installed 3G boosters – extending phone access to more than 30km from the nearest signal tower. This means guests will be able to quite freely use their phones throughout the Komodo cruise and in many areas in Raja Ampat.

M/V Mermaid 2 is a 32m (105ft), double engine steel motor yacht and easily accommodates 16 guests in 8 deluxe cabins, all on the main deck with large panoramic sea view windows, double and single beds, air conditioning and private en suite bathroom. 2 guests can be accommodated in a budget cabin below deck, with twin bunks, air conditioning and shared bathroom with 1 other cabin.

The dining room is located on the main deck where delicious buffet style Thai and western meals are served. The saloon is large and spacious with lounge suites and big windows, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, TV/DVD, music centre, library and a full selection of marine life books.
There are two outside decks – the shade covered party deck has comfortable lounge chairs. The sundeck, located in front of the wheelhouse has full sun and cushioned sun-platform. A dedicated camera table and rinse tanks make Mermaid 2 very suitable for photographers.
