Dive the spectacular dive sites of the Similan Islands, HinPusa, the Surin Islands and Richelieu Rock, on a 6-days/6-night trip aboard the Sea Bees Liveaboard Marco Polo. Departing Phuket’s Chalong Pier after dinner for an overnight sailing to wake up in the magnificent Similan Islands Marine Park.
The Sea Bees Liveaboard Marco Polo has 7 cabins. Three cabins with Air-con: the honeymoon suite, and two with a double bunk and single overhead. The four fan-cooled cabins have twin bunks. All cabins have doors that open directly on to the outer deck to give the full benefits of the sea breeze.
None of the cabins are en-suite on the Sea Bees Liveaboard. There are two showers and three toilets complete with sinks at the back of the dive deck at the same level. The dive deck itself is very spacious and tanks are filled in situ. Two ladders guarantee easy access in and out of the water.
Above the dive deck is the Salon and open air ‘party’ deck – a large covered area with plenty of seating where most of the meals are served al fresco. Inside the Salon, the meals are laid out buffet style and there is a TV and music station.
The 6-day/6-night liveaboard cruise includes 3 day dives, and one night dive each day (except the last day which is just two dives), with free Nitrox to Nitrox-certified divers, all meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, water, soft drinks, tea, coffee. Alcoholic drinks can be purchased on board. The diving includes: a dive guide, tank and weights, and dive gear are available to rent at an extra charge. Transfers from Phuket area are included. National Park fees are excluded and need to be paid on departure in cash. Currently, the National Park Fee is THB 2700.
Due to the remoteness of the trips, WiFi is not available on board.
For anyone who is more focussed on packing in the best diving in Thailand than on the inside of their cabin, Marco Polo is the absolute best choice.
The Sea Bees Liveaboard Marco Polo departs from Phuket’s Chalong Pier, and transfers from the Phuket area are included in the package price.
