#southerngreatbarrierreef photography finalists

Diveplanit is very excited to announce the 10 finalists in Tourism & Events Queensland’s #SouthernGreatBarrierReef Instagram competition! We were privileged to be a part of the judging process that brought us to this shortlist of 10 spectacular images.

Out of hundreds of entries, finalists have been shortlisted each week during the month of July with finalists chosen each week. These ten finalists are in the running for the grand prize – a $2,000 holiday to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

  1. Fabrice Jane – his connection to manta rays is wonderful and he is able to capture their true essence, beauty and majestic-ness through his photographs.

    1. I agree, Angie! And his research at Lady Elliot Island is fascinating. Amazing to think that over 700 individual manta rays have been identified there now. I’d dearly love to spend more time there myself!
