Features

This 45-meter vessel accommodates up to 14 guests across 7 well-appointed cabins. Guests can unwind in air-conditioned indoor spaces or bask in ocean views from the open-air dining areas and expansive sun deck. Malaillo offers a luxurious, comfortable platform for exploring the Indonesian archipelago’s underwater marvels.

We Think . .

Malaillo Liveaboard perfectly balances traditional Indonesian craftsmanship with high-end comfort and exceptional dive service, making it a superb choice for divers seeking exploration with style. Malaillo is part of the Gangga Divers group, one of the diving pioneers in Indonesia and very well respected.

Malaillo cruises through some of Indonesia’s top dive destinations, including Raja Ampat, Komodo, Alor, Halmahera, and the Banda Sea. These regions offer some of the world’s richest marine biodiversity, vibrant coral gardens, dramatic walls, and frequent pelagic sightings.

Indonesia’s position within the Coral Triangle makes its waters especially attractive for marine life enthusiasts. The variety of dive conditions—from gentle drifts to exhilarating currents—offers something for everyone, from beginners to advanced divers.

To reach Malaillo’s departure points, fly into Indonesia’s major hubs such as Jakarta or Bali (Denpasar) and transfer via domestic flights to embarkation ports like Sorong, Ambon, Maumere, or Bima. The team arranges airport or hotel transfers on embarkation and disembarkation days. It’s recommended to arrive at least a day before cruise departure.

Lower Deck Cabins Four cabins are located on the lower deck: two doubles with queen beds and two twin cabins, each 14 sqm. All feature air conditioning, private en-suite bathrooms, desks, wardrobes, and porthole windows.

  • The team at Diveplanit were tremendous help for my recent trip to Palau. The trip was a bit last minute, and bookings were filling up, so I appreciated Claire’s patience and first-hand knowledge as we tried to find the right combination of dates, flights and operators. • Michelle is a legend. I didn't know how difficult it could be to organise travel and diving in Vanuatu! Having been there, I can only wonder at the organisation and care that went into making my trip special.
