We Think. . .

Palau Aggressor II suits divers looking for structured dive days, current-based diving, and access to well-known Palau sites including reef walls, channels, and historic
wrecks.

Palau Aggressor II operates in Palau, located in the western Pacific within Micronesia. The region is known for clear water, steep reef walls, and strong tidal movement that drives nutrient flow and marine activity.

Dive areas include reef edges, channels between islands, and sheltered sections depending on weather. Conditions vary with tides, influencing current strength and visibility.

How to Get There

  • International flights arrive at Koror (ROR) International Airport
  • Airlines include United, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and China Airlines

The vessel is moored in Koror. Guests are met on arrival and transferred to the yacht. Boarding typically begins Sunday afternoon, with departure early Monday. The vessel returns Saturday, with disembarkation Sunday morning

Diving Location Features

Diving in Palau is shaped by reef walls, channels, and submerged structures. Many dives involve current, ranging from mild to strong, with drift diving common. Visibility is generally good, and marine life includes reef fish, sharks, rays, and pelagic species.

Dive Services

Diving is guided, with multiple dives scheduled daily based on conditions. Tanks, weights, and onboard support are provided.

Dive briefings outline entry points, current direction, and safety procedures. Divers are expected to use standard safety equipment, including surface marker buoys. Group diving is standard, with guides managing navigation and timing.

Dive Sites

Dive sites are selected based on weather, currents, and overall conditions.

Wall & Reef Sites – Steep walls and reef slopes with coral growth and reef fish. These sites often include drift profiles along the reef edge.

Channel Sites – Dives in channels where tidal flow brings in larger species. Sharks and rays are commonly seen in these areas.

Wreck Sites – WWII wrecks located around Palau, providing structure and habitat for marine life. These dives combine historical features with marine growth.

Cleaning Stations – Specific reef areas where larger species gather. These sites often allow for repeated sightings under stable conditions.

Blue Corner & German Channel – Commonly included sites known for current exposure and pelagic activity. Blue Corner is known for drift diving along reef edges, while German Channel is associated with larger species passing through.

  • The team at Diveplanit were tremendous help for my recent trip to Palau. The trip was a bit last minute, and bookings were filling up, so I appreciated Claire’s patience and first-hand knowledge as we tried to find the right combination of dates, flights and operators. Unsurprisingly, the trip was spectacular and ticked off multiple bucket list experiences.

  • Michelle is a legend. I didn't know how difficult it could be to organise travel and diving in Vanuatu! Having been there, I can only wonder at the organisation and care that went into making my trip special. There was even a cancelled flight that meant a rearrangement of activities on a couple of days. But it all went seamlessly. I would highly recommend Diveplanit.

  • Michelle was fantastic in helping with my recent PNG excursion. I got straightforward and detailed advice, and nothing was too much trouble. I had some package tweaks after committing to the initial trip, but the changes were no problem. There's no question whom I'll contact for my next South Pacific itinerary.
