Pitched as a macro-wall dive, Otto’s Point really has something for everyone. At the point proper, depending on how much current is running, pelagics will be feeding in the currents between 30 and 40m. The top sloping edge on the eastern side immediately south of the point has some of the best corals around.
Further south, the wall falls more steeply and is indeed covered with macro life.
There are large and small barrel sponges all along the wall.
Which seem to hold a strange fascination for some of the fish.
It really is a nooks & crannies dive as you follow the wall south. Around the 20m mark are a number of anemones.
On the return at 10m there are a number of caves, with the sun glinting through the crevices of the reef edge above.
