Turtle Bay Lodge is located on the east coast of Espiritu Santo, approximately a 20-minute drive from Luganville. The resort’s sheltered coastal position supports calm conditions for diving, snorkelling, and paddling throughout much of the year.
Direct Flights to Espiritu Santo (SON)
Air Solomon operates direct flights from Brisbane to Santo every Thursday, with a flight time of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. From April 2026, an additional Saturday service is scheduled, increasing weekly access from Australia.
Airport Transfers
Airport transfers from Santo-Pekoa International Airport can be arranged by Turtle Bay Lodge. Guests simply need to provide flight details in advance, and resort staff will meet arrivals and transfer them directly to the lodge.
All accommodation at Turtle Bay Lodge is positioned close to the water and includes ensuite bathrooms, private outdoor space, ceiling fans, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini bar fridge.
Ocean Front Double (Ocean View Room)
These rooms face directly onto the bay and feature a private verandah with uninterrupted sea views. Bedding consists of one queen bed and one single bed, making them suitable for couples or friends sharing.
Sea View Family Room
Recently renovated, these larger rooms include two separate sleeping areas—one with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds. French doors open onto a spacious verandah overlooking the ocean, offering a practical option for families.
Pool Side Family Room (Sea Views)
Located beside the swimming pool, these rooms provide sea views and generous outdoor space with seating and sun loungers. Accommodation includes a queen bed in the main room and a bunk bed plus day bed in the second area. The main bedroom is air-conditioned, with fans throughout.
Private Waterfront Marquees (Adults Only)
These adults-only marquee rooms sit directly on the waterfront and offer a more private stay. Each features a four-poster bed, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a private deck overlooking the bay.
Diving
Dive @ Turtle Bay Lodge operates directly from the resort, offering both shore and boat diving depending on conditions. The dive centre caters to all experience levels, from first-time divers to certified recreational divers.
Services include guided reef dives, introductory programs, and a full range of PADI courses, from Open Water through to advanced and specialty training. Group sizes are kept small, and dives are planned to match experience levels.
The resort swimming pool is used for confined-water training, refreshers, and beginner sessions, while nearby rinse and change areas support smooth post-dive routines.

Beginner – Turtle Bay House Reefs
Shallow reef systems close to the lodge feature coral gardens and reef fish, making them suitable for training dives, refreshers, and relaxed exploration.
Beginner to Intermediate – Blue Hole Dives
Freshwater blue holes near the resort offer clear conditions and a different underwater environment. These dives are conducted under supervision and suit divers building confidence.
Intermediate – East Coast Reef Slopes
Sloping reefs with bommies and gentle drop-offs host turtles, reef fish, and macro life. These sites suit divers looking to extend bottom time and improve buoyancy skills.
Advanced – Deeper Reefs and Offshore Sites
When conditions allow, deeper sites and offshore locations provide increased depth, structure, and biodiversity, suited to experienced divers.
