What to expect
Sam’s Tours is the best run dive centre I’ve had the pleasure to experience. Not only does the place run like clockwork, but the showers are warm and the staff mega-friendly.
They run a fleet of boats to each of the main sites daily, and others on demand – you simply put your name up on the blackboard against the site you wish to dive and the day you wish to dive it. It’s that simple. They have a variety of dive guides speaking a variety of languages.
There’s plenty of space to set up your gear, and they’ve got all the gear to hire if you forget something. When you get back there are different tubs to wash down your gear, suit and cameras and they can store your gear securely overnight.
Après-dive: there’s the Bottom Time Bar and Grill where you can grab a drink and some grub and either checkout the day’s collection of new great shots on your camera, or just relax and quietly reflect on the day’s experiences whilst admiring the inevitably gorgeous sunset.
