Niue has a mixture of easy to access caves and caverns and pristine hard coral reef dives home to many interesting marine creatures. With rarely any currents we have something spectacular to offer divers of all qualifications.

Double morning dives
We visit two different dive sites and spend the surface interval on board the boat or snorkelling if there is time in-between the dives – we may even come across the Dolphins for an in-water interaction. Double Dives operate at 07:30am.
Afternoon dives
Single dive trips operate from Monday to Saturday at 2:00pm. A great way to explore the beautiful Niuean waters with shorter trips on the boat.
Night dives
Night dives in Niue are amazing with a huge range of marine life coming out in the dark that you don’t get to see during the day. Niue Blue generally offers night dives once a week on a Wednesday night depending on conditions. Options include a shore dive from the Main Wharf or from one of our Dive Boats. Whale Tours
Humpback whales pass through Niue as they breed and raise their calves annually between July and September. Right on the edge of this cetacean highway, Niue is one of the few places in the world where you are allowed to be in the water to swim and observe these gentle giants.
Every interaction is different, but if the whales’ behaviour is suitable snorkellers have the opportunity to be just 20 metres away from these amazing creatures while they rest and play. Interactions from the boat can also be impressive, witnessing impressive full breaches, flukes, playful spy hops and fin slaps. We are also the only operator in Niue with a hydrophone speaker system that allows all guests onboard to listen to the hauntingly beautiful whale songs. It is also common to be able to listen to beautiful whale songs while snorkelling in the water.
The trips start with a presentation about the whales, learning about their behaviours and migratory patterns. We then head out on the ocean for a coastal tour, keeping an eye out for whales and maybe dolphins along the way. Whale Watching/ Whale Swimming
Trips operate between mid July till the end of September at 08:00-11.45am and 13:15-5pm Mon-Sat. Outside of these times will be only booked on island if the Whales are in high enough numbers to run the trips. Time spent on the water being approximately 3 hours.
