The Nautilus UnderSea is a 105-foot (32-meter) liveaboard steeped in history. First launched in 1968 as Dr. Perry’s personal submarine tender for Perry Oceanographic, the vessel later rose to prominence as the Undersea Hunter, conducting expeditions to Cocos Island and featuring in IMAX documentaries filmed throughout the South Pacific. A major refit in 2017 transformed the vessel, adding a hull extension, a new superstructure, an expanded sun deck, a bulbous bow, and a state-of-the-art stabilization system—blending its classic legacy with modern performance and comfort.

Facilities & Meals

Accommodating up to 19 guests, the Nautilus UnderSea is designed for intimate, small-group diving adventures. It features a spacious dive deck with a water-level platform for easy access, plus an extended sun deck and a hot tub for post-dive relaxation. Meals are freshly prepared daily and reflect a mix of international flavors, ensuring variety and satisfaction for every palate.

Activities

In addition to world-class diving, guests can unwind in the hot tub or relax in cozy lounge areas. Evening presentations and marine life slide shows add an educational touch to the experience, deepening your appreciation for the underwater world.

The Nautilus UnderSea offers satellite Wi-Fi to help you stay connected while at sea—ideal for keeping in touch with loved ones or handling light work. A satellite phone service is also available for additional communication options.
