Exmouth Dive & Whalesharks are pioneers of diving and whale shark tours to Ningaloo Reef, operating whale shark tours daily from late March to July and Humpback Whale Swims from August to October. Diving and snorkeling tours along the 260 km of fringing reef and the Muiron Islands are available between March and October.
All tours include a full range of refreshments, beverages, and a tasty lunch as well as morning and afternoon tea. All tour leaders are experienced, fully qualified Dive Masters. Each deluxe swim guest receives a premium video and photos of their whale shark encounter recorded by a professional videographer. All equipment you need for the day is provided.
Spotter planes are used to spot whale sharks and humpbacks, and the company’s Early Bird policy ensures you are first on the scene and guaranteed more time swimming with these majestic creatures.
Located in Exmouth town, Exmouth Dive & Whalesharks provide daily transfers to most resorts and hotels. All tours depart and return to Exmouth.

Potshot Hotel Resort
The centrally located Potshot Hotel Resort has a variety of accommodation from deluxe three bedroom and standard two bedroom apartments to Standard and Budget rooms, tastefully nestled around the pool and bar area. The Potshot Hotel Bistro is open 365 days a year for lunch and dinner and there are a number of bars and a beer garden.
For divers in a group the standard two bedroom apartments are a good option: air conditioned with two separate bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living/dining area, 1 bathroom, flat screen TV, and private courtyard area with BBQ facilities. Bed linen and towels are supplied.
For couple and dive buddies, the Standard Room is a good option. The modern air conditioned rooms come with either a king size bed or a queen size & single bed, en suite bathroom, bar fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, telephone, and flat screen TV. Bed linen and towels are supplied. (There is also a budget room option – for the price conscious).
Exmouth Dive & Whalesharks operate daily tours to either Ningaloo Reef or the Muiron Islands, depending on conditions. Pickup time from your resort is 7:30 AM for diving, (7:00 AM for whale shark swims), returning 3:30 PM.
Ningaloo Reef and the Muiron Islands offer a wide range of dive sites with a maximum depth of 20m and usually only gentle currents, suitable for all levels of divers. Swim-throughs and ledges provide plenty of places to search for shrimps, nudibranchs, eels, juvenile angelfish and other timid creatures. In mid-water and against the reefs look for friendly potato cod, large rankin cod, turtles, nurse sharks, soft coral gardens, anemones, clams and 1000’s of darting, colourful reef fish.
