The line-up of presentations, workshops and exhibitors at this year’s OZTek/OZDive Expo is extraordinary. From FBI divers and cave explorers to award winning underwater photographers, ghost wrecks and marine conservation.
The Diveplanit Travel team is pumped. In the massive lineup of presentations, we can’t decide which is more exciting: learning that there is an FBI diving unit (and why?) from ex operative Bobby Chacon, finding out about Australia’s greatest cave discoveries from Deborah Johnson, cave exploration in Mexico’s cenotes from Maria Bollerup and Rannva Joermundsson or the Pacific’s ghost wrecks from Dr Matt Carter. And then there’s photography workshops with some of our favourite photographers including Matty Smith, Matt Krumins and Vanessa Torres Macho. Oh and there are so many others! Since its inception in 1999, the OZTek Dive Expo has done more to highlight the adventure and excitement inherent in diving than any other show in Australia. Now incorporating the OZDive Show, the expo continues to play a key role in creating awareness of new techniques and technologies which transform and stretch the boundaries of underwater knowledge, while also presenting new diving destinations to the Australian audience.
The expo is on at the Melbourne Conference & Exhibition Centre Sat 1st and Sun 2nd October 2022.
