Abyss Plongee Diving Club is based at Marina Port du Sud in Noumea and offers daily dive day trips to the South Lagoon and excursions to other main island dive sites such as Prony Needle.

The dive centre was founded by two friends, Lionel and Denis, who fell in love with New Caledonia after arriving here in 2003 from Reunion. The dive centre offers day trips offers both PADI and CEDIP/ANMP dive courses.

Abyss Plongee Diving Club provide a safe and reliable dive experience in Noumea’s South Lagoon. The friendly guides are very experienced, always choosing dive sites that suit customers’ expectations and experience, and knowledgeable about local marine life and conditions.

Abyss Plongee Diving Club is located at Marina Port du Sud, Noumea.

Abyss Plongee Diving Club offers around twenty dive sites located from the Dumbéa pass to the Amédée lighthouse where you will observe turtles, manta rays, sharks and an incredible biodiversity.

The dive shop operates two 8.5 m Zodiacs, with dive trips to the South Lagoon departing daily at 7:15am. The trip to the outer reef for a double dive takes around 35 minutes, returning to the marina at approximately 1:00pm.

Excursions further afield are also on offer, to explore the virgin sites of the mainland, such as the famous Prony needle, the canyons of La Foa or even the marvelous drop offs of the great south.  Abyss Plongee Diving Club has English-speaking dive guides and instructors. The Mares equipment is all in good condition. All dive centres in New Caledonia have tanks with DIN regulator fittings.
