Location: On the north side of the island, around 20-minutes boat ride.

This is an incredibly scenic dive that just keeps evolving. As you drop in, you’ll see a river of white sand about 20 metres below, fringed on either side by coral reefs.

On the sand, you can play with the friendly sand pipers who’ll usually be intrigued by the camera lights, before exploring the fringing reefs for cleaner shrimps, juvenile angels and lionfish.

Expect to spot a turtle or two as you explore the coral reef, there’s usually a couple grazing her and there.

Head over the river of sand to a drop off which drops about 30 metres and explore the gorgeous fans on the drop-off wall. There’s a deeper sand river below which heads off into the blue.

Head back up the wall to the shallows and explore the coral gardens, teeming with anthias and other small reef fish before ascending to your safety stop, where you can still gaze down through this amazing visibility to the sand rivers below.
